Generation Harvest

Policies & Procedures

Generation Harvest umbrella school policies and procedures are established to create a consistent, productive environment for our students.  Students and parents are expected to comply with all Generation Harvest policies and guidelines during course hours as well as during Generation Harvest sponsored functions.  Failure to comply result in dismal without refund.

·          Records — Generation Harvest will hold the following permanent records for each child, furnished by parents within 30 days of enrollment.

        Copy of Birth Certificate

        Current Florida State Immunization Form or Official Religious Exemption

        Current Annual Medical Physical

·          Payment — Students are enrolled in Generation Harvest only when full payment, completed registration form, and notarized medical consent form are received. 

·          Attendance — Parents agree to establish and maintain an educational schedule of at least 180 days per calendar year.  Each day must meet the minimum number of hours pertaining to each grade level, as listed below.  Parents agree to submit quarterly attendance records (on provided forms) by the following dates:  October 5th, January 5th, April 5th, July 5th.  A $10 late fee will be assessed for late submissions.  After two weeks, a $25 late fee will be assessed.  After 30 days, student will be dismissed from the school.

        Kindergarten  3 hours/day

        1st — 3rd  4 hours/day

        4th — 12th  5 hours/day

·          Grades.  Assessment forms (report cards) will be provided.  Parents agree to keep detailed records to substantiate grades (including grading rubrics).  Ruberics and copies of work samples must be submitted with Report Cards and Transcripts

·          Transcripts — Generation Harvest will provide transcripts upon request for a nominal fee.

·          Behavior and Conduct — Families agree to uphold good scriptural discipline and godly character training.  Students must respond to correction and moral teaching.  Children with severe disciplinary problems may be subject to dismal, without tuition refund, based on the sole discretion of Generation Harvest.  The family and the child must we willing to work cooperatively toward the goals of Generation Harvest to continue to be enrolled.

·          Withdrawal —Families are free to withdraw students at any point in the year by submitting a signed statement of withdrawal.  Records will be mailed to families within 30 days of written notice, via certified mail.  No tuition refunds will be issued.

·          Copies of Records—A copy of permanent records will be kept on file indefinitely (even after families have withdrawn), and can be requested at any time with a signed statement.
